Free REACH and Energy Conservation Seminar

The Carpet and Rug Institute in conjunction with the Georgia Environmental Partnership is offering a free REACH and Energy Seminar for the Carpet Industry on October 8. The seminar will be held at the Georgia Northwest Trade Center in Dalton from 8:30 to 5:00. There is no cost for the event and lunch will be provided. Registration is required by October 1.

Experts will provide tremendous information on energy topics as diverse as industrial conservation, alternative fuels, and governmental initiatives. Expert presenters from academia, government, industrial, and NGO will also examine the impacts and requirements of REACH for U.S. industry. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals.
