Thank you for visiting the website for Georgia DNR’s Sustainability Division (formerly the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division, or P²AD). Since 1993, the division has provided free, non-regulatory and confidential technical assistance in the areas of pollution prevention, resource conservation, waste reduction, by-product reuse, and recycling. In 2004, we established the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia to encourage environmental leadership and recognize superior environmental performance. Free and open to any business or organization in Georgia, the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia is the cornerstone of our operations. Technical assistance is a key element of the program, allowing us to provide direction and support to our Partners as they move toward sustainability.
Our goals are to foster environmental leadership and exemplify organizational excellence. As you browse the pages of our website, you will see that we work in a variety of ways to accomplish these goals.
