Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia and EPA Performance Track Joint Recruitment Event

We are pleased to announce the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia and EPA Performance Track will hold a joint recruitment event at 1:00 on August 27 at the Georgia Aquarium.  Do you know of any businesses or organizations that may be interested in learning more about these environmental leadership programs?  If so, let us know so we can send them information about the event.  We are also seeking a few current Partners to attend the event and be available to answer prospect questions.  If you are interested in attending, please contact us now because space is limited.  Event participants will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium after the event.

Drive Clean and Green Across Georgia

White Level Partner, Middle Georgia Clean Cities Coalition, will host Drive Clean and Green Across Georgia on July 30, 2007.  Meet the caravan of hybrids and alternative fuel vehicles at the State Capitol at 10 am to show your support.  A pit stop will be made in Macon around noon, with the trip ending in Tifton at 3 pm to kickoff the Southeast Bioenergy Conference 2007.  For more information contact Charise Stephens at charistephens@macon.ga.us or 478-615-2506.

Resource Management Contracting Webcast

Learn how to get the most from your waste and recycling contracts at the Resource Management Contracting Webcast on August 8 at 1:30.  This session, presented by WasteCap Nebraska, will cover Resource Management contracts, diversification and market growth.  Also hear about current projects and how you can implement a Resource Management program for your organization.

Georgia Environmental Conference

Don’t miss the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s 2nd Annual Georgia Environmental Conference in Savannah August 22-24.  This three-day conference will offer over thirty course topics including everything from recycling to regulatory updates and the greening of business (featuring P²AD Partners Shaw and Yamaha).

Georgia Recycling Coalition Conference

On August 26, White Level Partner, Georgia Recycling Coalition, is rolling out the green carpet for recycling at their 16th Annual Conference on St. Simons Island.  The conference will include training sessions, education programs, and market reports.

Seven Revolutions: How Will Your World Change by 2025

The Southern Institute at Georgia State University, a Yellow Level Partner, will welcome Erik Peterson for the Third Program in the Summer Seminar Series on August 30 at 4:00.  He will describe seven global revolutions — from technology to population to resource allocation — which have profound implications for society and commerce worldwide.

Georgia Conservancy’s Common Ground Conference 07

What better way to spend your energy than to attend the Georgia Conservancy’s Common Ground Conference 07?  It will be held September 6-7 in Atlanta and will focus on the environmental impacts of energy production and use, climate change, energy efficiency and conservation, renewable energy in Georgia and ways you can reduce energy use.
